Modules

You'll get a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the concepts of Supply Chain Management and its contribution to the global economy. This will include strategic supply chain skills, decision making in key areas such as procurement and logistics. You'll look at digitalisation techniques in the real world that aim to address the changing nature of operations in response to supply and demand.

Develop a critical approach to understanding the nature of international business, the financial institutions and markets in which it operates, and the regulations controlling the financial sector. The aim is to provide you with the skills required to critically evaluate the disruptive nature of technological change in the international business environment, and to consider ethical and sustainable responses to such challenges.

Why study a CILT accreditation course?

Accreditation is a process by which the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in the UK (CILT UK) works with universities/colleges across the UK. It ensures undergraduate and postgraduate degrees across nine professional sectors meet the standards for membership of the Institute.

Accredited degrees meet the academic criteria for assessed grades of CILT UK membership. Studying an accredited degree means taking a big step towards to an exciting career within supply chain management. It offers you a ‘fast track’ route to Assessed Membership of the CILT UK.

The CILT UK aims to support students on an accredited degree through student membership. There are various membership grades in the CILT UK. You'll have plenty of opportunities to work your way up through the membership grades. We will encourage and help you to do this.

Entry requirements

Applicants would normally have a degree at Honours Classification 2:2 or above in a related discipline e.g. Business, Finance, Economics, Management. Non relevant degrees which have relevant work experience will be considered on a case by case basis and a substantial Personal statement and CV should be provided. Candidates with professional qualifications and/or work experience are considered on a case-by-case basis
For students where English is not their first language a score of at least 6.0 on IELTS or equivalent
