At our partner institutions, you can study a range of UCLan courses. From HNC/Ds, foundation degrees, teacher training programmes, full honours degrees and top-up courses.
As well as having access to the facilities at your chosen partner you'll also be able to enjoy a variety of UCLan facilities and services. Studying with a partner means you can study for a higher education award at a location local to you. Some partnership courses allow you to begin your studies within a partner institution and complete them here at UCLan. While others are delivered entirely by our partners.
As a partner student, you might have the opportunity to move on to UCLan to complete your programme or to study for a higher qualification. For example, you can top up a HNC/D or a foundation degree to an honours degree at the University.
Hear from our partner students
The Futureworks academics make time for all students and provided me with one-on-one tutorial sessions, which really helped me gain an understanding of script writing.

We were keen to obtain a dance teaching qualification on a programme that included both practical dance lessons and workshops, so Preston College and the BA (Hons) Dance Performance, Teaching & Choreography appealed to us.

Preston College
I really enjoyed the practicality of the programme; you are assigned a certain topic for assignments and can take this in whatever direction you like. I’d recommend this degree to prospective students as you can do a lot with it, it really gets your creative side out.

Studying the (BA) Hons Creative Practitioner Degree at Wigan and Leigh College has been really interesting. As a mature student going into the programme, I assumed that I already had a good knowledge of the subject, but it has really opened my mind to new ideas.

The programme is very practical and lambing has been my personal highlight; students got to participate in live lamb births and even assist with their immediate post-partum care. It was beneficial to come to campus, take part in the induction and see resources.

I’ve had a positive experience studying at Myerscough. I’m deaf and live on campus with my assistance dog, Alvin, and the staff are accommodating where lessons are adjusted to meet my requirements, such as putting subtitles on videos.
