The group collaborates with health and social care professionals, the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector, academics, and the public. The aim is to conduct applied research and develop educational programmes. This informs decision-making, mobilises knowledge, and implements change.
We specialise in study design, evidence synthesis (such as systematic reviews and meta-analyses), information science, health economics, and knowledge mobilisation.
SEEDS leads the Applied Research Collaboration North-West Coast’s (ARC-NWC) Methodological Innovation, Development, Adaptation and Support (MIDAS) Theme. This initiative helps people understand, use, and produce research to promote health equity and improve health and wellbeing.
