Our Veterinary Education, Coaching and Leadership PGCert is a part-time, online course created for veterinary professionals working in clinical practice.

What you'll do

  • Each module runs over 12 weeks, with two blocks of 5 weeks of online learning material followed by a reading week and portfolio style assessment.
  • Four synchronous online sessions will be delivered per module to support your self-directed study and encourage you to engage with other students
  • You will receive support from academic tutors, personal tutors and professional coaches, to help you to achieve your goals.

Entry requirements

  • British honours degree (2:2 class or above) in a veterinary professional subject (e.g., Veterinary Nursing, Veterinary Physiotherapy, Veterinary Medicine) or equivalent from an approved institution of higher education OR related Honours degree and experiential learning (e.g. veterinary practice management)
  • Non-standard applicants are welcomed. Recognition of Prior and Work-Based Learning in accordance with University regulations may be available
  • Have sufficient competency in English language (IELTS Level 6.5 or equivalent)
