Dr Louise Dingley
Louise is a veterinary surgeon with extensive experience in companion animal medicine and surgery. She has a keen interest in promoting the role of the general practitioner within the veterinary profession and also helping to prepare veterinary students for longevity in primary care environments. She has a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Louise is the course leader for the Postgraduate Certificate in Veterinary Education, Coaching and Leadership and MSc in Veterinary Primary Care and Clinical Leadership.
Louise has spent 12 years in small animal clinical practice prior to joining us in March 2024. Her roles have ranged from veterinary hospital intern, veterinary associate, head veterinary surgeon and more recently university general practice veterinary surgeon (involving workplace-based learning/teaching of final year veterinary students).
