UCAS Extra 2024 is now closed.

UCAS Extra is an option that allows you to add more choices to your UCAS application. The free service is for anyone who has currently used all five choices on their application, and holds offers for none of them.

UCAS Extra can help you secure a place at a university before the Clearing period.

If your grades were better than you expected, you can choose to decline your place and release yourself into Clearing.

You can do this by using the 'decline your place' button in your UCAS application. You're able to do this from 5 July if you are holding a firm unconditional place.

Entry requirements for courses during Clearing can vary. We offer a variety of routes into university study including courses with a foundation year. We encourage you to call us to explore your options.

If you already have your qualifications, you can view our UCAS Points Calculator to work out how many UCAS points you have. If you don't quite meet the UCAS points for your course, don't worry as there are many different options available to you.

Clearing 2024 is now closed at the University of Central Lancashire. Our Clearing deadline was Monday 23 September 2024.

Clearing closure dates vary depending on the university you apply for. Courses may also close when they are full.
