Value: The most that you can apply for is £3,000 a year. However, the amount that you receive depends on your financial need and the total amount of funding Leverhulme have available to distribute each year.

Overview
The Leverhulme Bursary has been created for those work, or have parents and spouses who work, in the following industries:
- Grocery industry
- In a community pharmacy or working as a registered pharmacist or pharmacy technician
- As a commercial traveller
You must also be registered on a full-time undergraduate degree course at a recognised UK university

To apply, you need to fill in the online application form.

To be eligible to apply, you need to be:
- A resident of the UK
- Studying for a full-time undergraduate degree at a recognised UK university
- In ‘financial need’
- The child (including step child/under the care of), spouse, or those themselves who work:
- In the grocery industry
- In a community pharmacy or as a registered Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician
- As a commercial traveller

You can apply for a bursary for each year of your degree course, or for the remaining years if you first apply part-way through your course. Unfortunately, we can’t offer grants for previous years of study that you have already completed.
No, Leverhulme expect to continue awarding you a grant for as long as your undergraduate degree continues, provided that:
- You continue to study full-time, at the same university, on the same course
- Your university confirms that your academic performance is satisfactory each year
- You progress on to the next year of your course when expected
- There is no significant change in your financial situation
