Facilitating International Prospective Clinical Trials in Stem Cell Transplantation

Project Aims

  • To establish the methodology to run prospective clinical trials in Europe
  • To standardise essential data collection and to develop a clinical trial database that interacts with the pre-existing databases of retrospective data at the EBMT and CIBMTR.
  • To work towards achieving consensus on regulatory requirements, including ethical and legal issues across Europe
  • To design and maintain a portal for information exchange
  • To improve biostatistical methodology in the analysis of clinical trials in SCT
