Job details

The Development and Alumni team at the University of Central Lancashire is recruiting for a new Trusts and Foundations Manager to fulfil a key element of our ambitious fundraising aspirations. The funds raised will enable new transformative projects across a range of university subject areas, and significantly contribute to our philanthropic income.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for developing high quality funding proposals, managing strategic relationships with a portfolio of trusts and foundations, and securing major (£100,000+) gifts from regional, national and international philanthropic funders.

We need someone who is able to make a flying start with this currently underdeveloped area. Ideally, a natural problem solver with the ability to work laterally to resolve fundraising challenges across departments. This role will allow you to co-create and lead this income stream strategy, and represents an exciting opportunity for career development.

Applicants will need to be educated to degree level, or equivalent work experience along with proven experience of securing significant income from trusts and foundations, ideally within higher education, research, or the non-profit sector.
