The School wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Clinical Research Methods / Evidence-Based Medicine to contribute to management, development and delivery of a newly established research module for undergraduate medical students. The post will be based at Westlakes campus but will involve regular travel to facilitate teaching at partner NHS organisations in the south of Cumbria.

You will hold a degree and hold or be working towards a higher degree in an appropriate health or science subject and ideally a teaching qualification (or willingness to undertake such on appointment).

You must possess excellent communication and presentation skills; have an ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and maintain good working relationships with other healthcare professions and NHS partners. You will have a good knowledge of research methodology as applied to the medical sciences. Previous teaching experience would be an advantage.
