This role is based in the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Directorate and offers an opportunity to lead the day-to-day operation of the Oasis Faith and Spirituality Centres at our Preston, Burnley and Westlakes campuses. If you are committed to ensuring an inclusive environment that welcomes and supports all and have experience in co-ordinating teams, planning activities and events, we would love to hear from you!

You will be the first point of contact and coordinate support for students and colleagues of all faiths and world views, supporting the University’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy and enhancing the student experience. You will promote the ethos and objectives of the Chaplaincy Team and contribute to a university community built on respect and inclusivity, developing a programme of events, information, projects, and initiatives involving learners and colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have experience of coordinating and developing teams. A degree or equivalent and knowledge and understanding of the needs of a diverse community is essential, alongside commitment to ensuring an inclusive environment that welcomes and supports all.

We are committed to making sure our students and colleagues thrive, whatever their background. Diversity of thought, perspectives and experiences are valued and applications from all backgrounds encouraged. Together, we can create opportunities and achieve a more diverse, and inclusive future at our University.
