About the role:

The School of Medicine and Dentistry wishes to appoint a highly motivated individual to join our enthusiastic and committed assessment team. 

The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure successful delivery of assessment within the School of Medicine. The role will be key to maintaining academic standards and enhancing the quality of the student experience. Under the supervision of the Assessment Lead, the post holder will support the role of the assessment subcommittee in setting, analysing and interpreting student performance against expected standards.

About you:

The right candidate will have excellent IT skills, the ability to prioritise and multi-task, and a high degree of attention to detail. They will have a range of GCSEs, including English Language and Maths at Grade C or above, or appropriate equivalent experiential learning. Experience of working in a Higher Education environment is desirable as is experience of assessment and examination.

The post is based at the Westlakes campus and occasional attendance at Preston or Burnley campus may also be required. Informal enquiries are welcomed; please contact Sarah Bartlett, Assessment Lead, via email in the first instance.
