We are seeking to appoint a Campus Day Facilitator to join the team delivering the MBBS programme at the Westlakes Campus in Whitehaven. This is a fixed term position for 12 months due to the requirement for specialist expertise.

The successful applicant will work one day a week (Wednesday) supporting collaborative small group learning activities involving Year 4 undergraduate students and will also be the Academic Advisor for a group of students. 

The post involves approximately half a day per week of teaching activity including case based learning, professionalism and clinical reasoning sessions. Additional time is allocated for preparation work, assessment activities, and review of students’ portfolios. All the timetabled activities will be carried out on a Wednesday.

The successful applicant will be an experienced clinician holding full registration with the GMC and will have experience of teaching medical students and excellent communication and presentation skills.
