Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
The University of Central Lancashire welcomes students from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
We have strong connections to the Caribbean. We launched a unique medical programme in 2019 with The American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, based in Sint Maarten. This allowed Global students to take the US medical school curriculum and get a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree through study in the UK and US.
We were also host to significant symposiums related to research projects across the Caribbean. These included the Deaf Caribbean Academic Network (DeafCAN) project seminar ‘Deaf Lives and Sign Languages in the Caribbean’ in May 2023. The symposium was attended by key collaborators from Trinidad and Tobago, Puerto Rico and Jamaica. Our Students' Union is also proud to run our African-Caribbean Society.
