At the University of Central Lancashire, we welcome students from Azerbaijan and look forward to seeing you at our UK campuses.
We have a research centre for Field Archaeology and Forensic Taphonomy, which is a global research community with expertise in primary data collection and investigation. They assist with the identification of human remains in a number of countries, including Azerbaijan and provides bespoke training for the International Committee of the Red Cross.
Our entry requirements will vary depending on the individual course and the year of entry and the below are indicative only. Any reference to typical entry qualification or grades stated on the website are provided as a guide only. There is no guarantee that applicants who have, or are predicted to achieve, grades equivalent to or exceeding typical entry qualifications or grade will be made an offer by the University of Central Lancashire.

Azerbaijani Certificate of Complete Secondary Education (Orta tehsil haqqinda attestat) minimum average of 4/5.

Completion of one year of a 4 year Bachelor’s degree (Bakalavr) at a recognised Azerbaijani university with a minimum average of 60% or 3/5
Or
Successful completion of your Azerbaijan Certificate of Complete Secondary Education with grades of at least 4.0/5.0 AND a recognised foundation year
Or
High achieving students from vocational and Technical Colleges (Kolleci and Texnikumu) may be accepted.
Scholarships
Below are the criteria for the award of scholarships:
Excellence
- 1st year of degree completed with an average minimum of 90% or an overall score of 5.
Country Specific
- £2k per year of study with no specific academic criteria (where a student has met the Excellence Scholarship criteria £3k is applied).
Advanced entry:
Excellence
- Three years of 4 year Bachelor with average minimum of 80% or 4/5 GPA.
Country Specific
- £2k per year of study with no specific academic criteria (where a student has met the Excellence Scholarship criteria £3k is applied).

Completion of a Bachelor degree (Bakalavr), specialist degree or Magistr from a recognised university with a minimum average of 61% or 3/5.

Excellence
- Completion of a Bachelor degree with average minimum of 91%.
Country Specific
- £2k per year of study with no specific academic criteria (where a student has met the Excellence Scholarship criteria £3k is applied).
If your academic and/or English language qualifications are not sufficient to allow for direct entry to one of our undergraduate or postgraduate taught programmes, you may wish to consider one of our Undergraduate or Master Foundation Programmes, offered at the University of Central Lancashire by ONCampus. Successful completion of this programme can guarantee entry to a wide range of programmes with us.
