Engine Build and Dynamometer Workshops

We have two fully equipped engine dynamometer cells and an engine build area.

The engine build area allow students an opportunity to work on an engine undergoing performance development work under the direction of academic staff with considerable experience in this field.

The dynamometer cells allow engine performance to be fully measured right across the full range of operating conditions, allowing the assessment of the results of development work and the most effective ‘mapping’ of the engine.
