This event is an information event targeting potential recruits to the Police Constable Degree Programme with Lancashire Police.

Lancashire Police are seeking to recruit to a cohort of apprentices that will start in November this year.

There will be presentations highlighting the benefits of joining the apprenticeship programme and opportunities to speak to the course team, made up by Police Officers and our University team. There will also be opportunities to speak with police officers who have been through the programme. Additionally, there will be short campus tours to demonstrate the facilities available to apprentices during the programme.

The programme is a great opportunity to earn a degree whilst earning a wage. Apprentices will work as operational police officers whilst simultaneously studying for their fully funded degree. The programme follows the College of Policing curriculum and provides advanced levels of learning in relation to the operational requirements for response police officers, the principles of effective evidence based policing, problem solving, decision making and a multitude of other skills.
