Connect Centre Conference - Children and Families Experiencing Harm and Abuse: Research for Change

Opening address by Carolina Överlien, Professor of Gender-based violence and health, Uppsala University, Sweden: 'Sexual violence and abuse in young people’s intimate relationships.'

Following her address, there will be various presentations exploring different aspects of interpersonal violence affecting children, adults, and families. These presentations will be organized into themed sessions running simultaneously throughout the day, offering insights from both academic and practical perspectives.

Full programme to follow in late July/early August.

How much does it cost to attend?

£50 for practitioners and undergraduate students and £95 for academics, researchers and postgraduate students. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Who is the event for?

The event is for those working in: policy, research, commissioning and practice, including but not limited to social work, healthcare, policing and psychology.
