- Examination of the legal, ethical and cultural implications of nursing the neonate in the home
- Child protection issues
- Discharge planning, transition from unit to home
- Nutritional management of the neonate
- Supporting the family of an infant on home oxygen
- Supporting the family of an infant with special needs
- Supporting the family of a terminally ill infant or through bereavement
- Play therapy and child development
- Baby massage and yoga
- Facilitation and management of change
