Laura Kane
Laura is a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse and teaches across a range of subjects within the adult lecturing team. Laura completed her registered nurse training in the Royal Navy and specialised in reconstructive surgery and tissue repair and reconstruction. On leaving the forces in 2013, she trained and worked as a forensic nurse for the police and then went on to complete a public health specialist degree to become a Health Visitor.
Laura is a module leader within the adult nursing lecturer team with responsibility of module design and delivery and is undertaking the academic apprenticeship course in higher education.
Laura is an academic advisor within the School of Nursing and Midwifery to BSc students and Trainee Nurse Apprentices.
