Dr Kalama Adefe
Dr Kalama Adefe joined the University of Central Lancashire in 2020 after receiving an MSc and a Doctor of philosophy degree in Business and Management from the University of Sunderland. Prior to teaching at the University of Central Lancashire, Dr Kalama Adefe worked in the UK banking sector. He is passionate about exploring the degree of applicability of HR theories and practices in different cultural settings and developing strategic HR frameworks which are applicable to real life problems.
Kalama is largely a realist researcher who seeks to address specific research questions for a specific piece of study. As such, he is comfortable using quantitative or qualitative methods or a mix of both methods in any sequence as part of a well thought through process of triangulation.
