Joanna works with Degree Apprentices in the School of Business to undertake and oversee the completion of work-based visits with the learner and their mentor to monitor the learner's progress in relation to knowledge, skills and behaviours for apprenticeship standards. As an Apprenticeship Educator, Joanna supports the individual learner in being able to transfer their knowledge to skills and behaviours undertaken in the workplace.
Joanna graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Business and ICT from Sheffield Hallam University in 2017. Since then, Joanna has spent time working across multiple sectors including Nuclear, Highways and Rail in a multitude of roles, such as Quantity Surveyor, Assistant Commercial Manager and Project Manager. During this time, Joanna was responsible for managing a number of high-value multi-disciplinary projects for a variety of clients.
Joanna obtained several qualifications throughout her time in the industry, including PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) and International Association for Contract and Commercial Management (IACCM) Certification.
In 2021, Joanna joined us in the Business Development Team where she supported the engagement of small to medium sized businesses across Lancashire to provide support and advice on the relevance of skills provision. In 2022, Joanna joined our School of Business in her current role as an Apprenticeship Educator.
