Iram Tahir - Academic Staff

Iram teaches across the School on various subjects on the International MBA and the Degree Apprenticeship programmes. Subjects of particular interest include Leadership, Organisational Behaviour, People Management and Personal/Professional Development. Iram has a deep interest in combining different disciplines and schools of thought in her teaching to make it more relevant and relatable to students, and alongside her professional qualifications, continuously studies principles of neuroscience, psychology and quantum physics to bring depth and variety to her teaching techniques, and to develop the personal and professional capabilities of her students.

Iram's current role is focussed on teaching various modules on the International MBA programme, in a module tutor and module leader capacity. Iram is research active and has a research interest in leadership, management and gender issues. Iram supervises undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students.

She has extensive teaching and supervision experience across a range of business and management modules. Iram has worked in Higher Education since 2007 in Pakistan and the UK. She has undertaken teaching and research supervision responsibilities as part of her job role for undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students. She has several publications to her credit and has presented research papers at international conferences.

Iram is an international evaluator for PhD students in Pakistan and also works on the editorial board of the Global Management Journal for Academic and Corporate Studies. Iram is a CAVA-certified vocational training assessor.

Iram has provided corporate training to state and private organisations in management competencies in Pakistan, and has conducted personal and professional development workshops in the UK for schools and social enterprises.
