Hannah Ward

Hannah teaches across a range of modules on the Vision Sciences programmes. She is currently completing her PGCAP to become a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Hannah maintains her clinical role in the community and locums in practices over the North West. She is the placement tutor for the Ophthalmic dispensing and carries out quality assurance checks in practice.
Hannah is a member of the General Optical Council and the Association of British Dispensing Opticians. She is a qualified Dispensing Optician for over 20 years and has experience in all different types of optical practices and has worked in large multiples, small independent stores, and domiciliary companies.
She has been involved in organising educational events including representing us at 100% Optical at the Excel in London and at Health Melas across Preston.
