Dr Folayo Aina
Folayo is a Lecturer in Computing here. Folayo leads and contributes to modules in Computer Networks, Cyber Security, and Digital Forensic Technology at undergraduate and postgraduate level. She has published in reputable journals and conferences in the study of Mobile Wireless Telecommunication Networks, Quality of Services, Network Security, and Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks. Folayo also supervises undergraduate and postgraduate project in Computer Networks and Cyber Security course.
As a lecturer, Folayo develops module materials in Computer Networks, Cyber Security and Digital Forensic Technology. She also teaches these modules and prepares appropriate and standard assessment to assess students learning. Folayo verifies and moderates internal and external assessments. She has published in several reputable journals including Springer which is one of the world’s leading global research, educational and professional publisher.
Prior to joining us as a lecturer, she was a research assistant at Anglia Ruskin University. As an active researcher, she was part of a research group that was Involved in the successful completion of the UK-India Partnership Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI) partnership project with the Institute of Information Technology and Management (IIITM) in Gwalior/India.
Folayo has also held academic roles as a lecturer at other Higher Education Institutions abroad.
