Dr Patricia Johns-Rahnejat
Patricia's main role is in mentoring and supervising research staff in their research and developing high quality publication portfolios.
Patricia has publications in the area of tribology, contact mechanics and associated disciplines. She has research experience since 1978 in academe as well as industry. She uses her experience in the mentoring of younger research and academic staff.
Patricia has 10 years academic research experience at Imperial college London, funded by the Ministry of Defence and Westland Helicopters PLC. She also has industrial R&D experience at Rolls-Royce PLC (aerospace sector) and ENTC (applied mechanics). Patricia is Guest Editor of the journal Lubricants' Special Issue in Commemoration of Duncan Dowson (2020).
