Dr Danny Nuttall
Danny is the Course Leader for our BSc Football Studies programme. He also contributes to several of our other sport courses on offer. His primary focus is on the sociological and historical analysis of sport, and he has also previously led the Sport and Physical Education and Sports Studies programmes.
Danny graduated from UCLan in 2003. After, he went on to complete a master's degree at Lancaster University. More recently, Danny completed a PhD focusing on identity and community formation through computer-mediated communication.
Danny has also worked as a researcher in the healthcare sector. His role involved working with some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies, to plan and deliver qualitative research projects that captured the patient experience of various conditions and treatments.
