Christine White
Christine is a Pharmacist who works part-time as a Lecturer of Pharmacy Practice and part-time as a GP Practice Pharmacist. She brings professional experience to her teaching, supporting students to link theory to their future practice.
Christine mostly teaches Pharmacy Practice to undergraduate students. She has more recently supported teaching on the Advanced Certificate for Independent Prescribing.
Christine qualified as a Pharmacist in 1995 and started her career in community pharmacy. She held a variety of positions including manager of a busy pharmacy within a GP practice. Whilst working with Lloyds Pharmacy, she was seconded to the role of Teacher Practitioner one day per week here between 2010 to 2013.
In 2014, Christine joined us 2 days per week and progressed to Lecturer. Alongside this role, she continued working in community pharmacy 3 days per week. This was before moving to a Care Home Support Team as Pharmacist in 2015. After gaining valuable experience, she moved to a GP practice in 2020 and continues with both practice and teaching roles. Christine gained her Independent Prescribing Qualification in 2022.
