Abdullahi Giza's role as a Senior Lecturer in our Business School involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students. He supervises Master's, DBA, and PhD. students. Abdullahi Giza is a module leader, and is responsible in developing teaching materials. He is also responsible for the quality assurance and improvement of modules, evaluating, reviewing, and, where appropriate, revising modules' specifications. He ensures they remain relevant, up-to-date and in line with any professional requirements.
As a module leader, Abdullahi Giza is also responsible for conducting monitoring and leading the team of tutors in the effective delivery of the modules he leads and ensuring they are taught in accordance with academic standards. He is also a year tutor with a role to check students' academic engagement, student feedback, and external examiner input in liaison with collaborative partners.
Abdullahi Giza’s earliest teaching experience goes back to 2010 when he started teaching via support learning in Accounting modules at the Nasarawa State University. Abdullahi Giza decided to further his studies through the Master's degree (MSc) program. He reengaged with teaching and support learning in 2017 at the University of Bolton and has been teaching since.
Abdullahi Giza is also experienced in consultancy for most firms. He has a particular interest in financial forecasting, preparing year-end financial statements, examining a company's profitability, helping businesses maintain efficient and accurate accounting practices, and advising on regulatory compliance issues.
