Our campus
Our Burnley Campus is spread across two sites. Victoria Mill is based in a renovated mill, which has modern teaching facilities and the latest technology. There are lots of places to get food nearby. It's also just a five minute walk into town.
Princess Way is based in Burnley College. This is a large, bustling college with students from a range of age groups. It's is also just a short walk into town.
Local area
Burnley is a town in the North West of England, surrounded by the Pennine countryside. It is well-connected to local cities and towns, including Preston and Manchester.
The town centre has a choice of high street shops and independent stores. The Market Hall has a range of stalls, as well as a food court which serves international cuisine. You can choose from Bengali, Chinese, Korean, Thai and more. Plus, there's always the classic pie and peas.
Levelling up
Burnley is part of the levelling up scheme. There have been significant investments to improve the town centre and Manchester Road train station.
The University of Central Lancashire is also developing Newtown Mill as part of our expansion in Burnley. This is another iconic mill, which has been restored and transformed into a modern learning facility.
Leisure
There's lots to do in Burnley. Pioneer Place is a brand new leisure complex, with a cinema and a choice of places to eat and drink. This is based right in the town centre.
Burnley Mechanics Theatre host regular shows, concerts and pantomimes. Grab a bite to eat at the 1855 Bistro and Bar before the show. It's a great day out for all the family.
Burnley Football Club play at Turf Moor. Cheer on the Clarets as they take on some of the biggest names in football.
Burnley is also home to the famous Woodland Spa. Indulge in a little luxury at the newly-renovated spa. There's a heated pool, sauna, hot tub, ice lounge and so much more. It truly is the best way to relax.

Green spaces
There are lots of green spaces around Burnley. Towneley Park is home to beautiful gardens, as well as a children's park, garden centre and golf course. Thompson's Park is near the town centre and has its own boating lake. There are also lots of great walking routes, including Pendle Hill, Bronte Way and the Singing Ringing Tree.
Commuting
Burnley is connected by the M65 and M66, so it's easy to get to the rest of the North West. The M65 leads to Preston, Blackburn and Colne. The M66 leads to Manchester.
You can catch the X43 bus to Manchester, which only takes an hour. You could also catch the train from Manchester Road train station. There are lots of destinations, including Manchester, Leeds and York.
