We welcome students from Thailand to the University of Central Lancashire.
Our entry requirements will vary depending on the individual course and the year of entry and the below are indicative only. Any reference to typical entry qualification or grades stated on the website are provided as a guide only. There is no guarantee that applicants who have, or are predicted to achieve, grades equivalent to or exceeding typical entry qualifications or grade will be made an offer by the University of Central Lancashire.

Successful completion of a recognised foundation programme; GCE A Levels or IB equivalent
Or
Matthayom (MAW) 6 Certificate of Basic Education with 80%/GPA 3.0/4.0 may be accepted on a case-by-case basis
Or
Successful completion of Certificate of Higher Vocational Education/Diploma of Vocational Education (Paw Waw Saw)
Or
Successful completion of year 1 of university in Thailand.

Below are the criteria for the award of the Excellence scholarships:

Successful completion of a 4-year Bachelor’s degree: 2:2 = Division One University GPA 2/4

Excellence Scholarship
Below are the criteria for the award of the Excellence scholarships:

GPA 3 or above from a Division One University (see list attached) = 2:1.

GPA 3.5 or above from any other university = 2:1.
If your academic and/or English language qualifications are not sufficient to allow for direct entry to one of our undergraduate or postgraduate taught programmes, you may wish to consider one of our Undergraduate or Master Foundation Programmes, offered at the University of Central Lancashire by ONCampus. Successful completion of this programme can guarantee entry to a wide range of programmes with us.

English as medium of instruction at Mahidol University’s International College; Thammasart University; Chulalongkorn University and Assumption University.
