Live projects

The EIC brings together regional expertise from education and industry. As a UCLan engineering student you’ll be provided with a range of exciting, hands-on experiences including live real-world projects and extra-curricular activities, as well as both global and research opportunities with commercial partners.

Industry links

Education and work at the EIC are informed by an Industry Steering Group. The group is now well established, with representatives from global PLCs providing a powerful insight into the skills needed by the future workforce to help them innovate.

The group includes companies such as Rolls Royce, Jaguar Land Rover, BAE Systems and specialist architecture practice Frank Whittle Partnership. The steering group also includes sector groups such as North West Aerospace Alliance and The Manufacturing Institute that represent large numbers of supply chain companies.
