CAD Suites and Large Format Printing

Generally dual monitors are required plus a higher specification processor, additional RAM and a higher specification graphics card. The largest PC room fitted with this specification is in our EIC Building.

Room HB144A is equipped with 40 CAD specification computers and 4no. large plasma screens for teaching purposes.

Colour A4/A3 printing, scanning and photocopying is available within this room as is large format colour printing. These printers are all accessible from the university network.

A second large format colour printer identical to the one in this room is available on the ground floor of the library. It is also accessible from the network.

The opening times of these facilities are the same as the opening times of the building.

Access to these facilities is available outside of normal business hours on a case-by-case basis.
