Apprentice Solicitor - Recruiting at our SPARK event

As an Apprentice Solicitor, you will work within one of the departments of the firm, gaining hands-on experience across different legal areas. Throughout the apprenticeship, you’ll have the opportunity to develop key legal skills such as drafting documents, researching legal cases, providing advice to clients, and attending court proceedings. You will be supported by experienced solicitors who will mentor and guide you through your journey to becoming a qualified solicitor including exposure a variety of work to ensure you will meet the SRA Solicitor Standard.

As part of this role you will be working towards the LLB (Hons) Legal Practice Solicitor Degree Apprenticeship. For the 2025 intake, we are offering places based in all 4 of our specialism areas.

The role includes the following responsibilities: 

• Assist with legal research and preparation of documents for client cases
• Draft contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation under supervision
• Attend meetings with clients and provide initial advice on legal matters
• Work with solicitors on case management and attend for court hearings
• Support the preparation of legal reports, briefs, and statements
• Maintain and organise case files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
• Liaise with clients, courts, and other relevant individuals as needed
• Attend training sessions and workshops as part of the Degree Apprenticeship Programme.
