Full job description

The role includes the following responsibilities:

Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor with cost planning, budgeting, and procurement activities
Support in the preparation of tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other project documentation
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and assess materials and labour costs
Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure clear communication of project requirements and costings
Assist in the preparation and submission of financial reports and final accounts
Ensure that all projects are completed in line with legal regulations and company policies
Help maintain accurate records of site measurements, valuations, and variations
Work collaboratively with the design, project management, and installation teams to ensure the seamless delivery of projects
Attend meetings with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders as required

Company requirements:

Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths at grade C/4 or above

Degree Apprenticeship requirements:

Applicants are required to have:

GCSEs: Maths and English at Grade C/4 or equivalent such as Level 2 functional skills in Maths and English.

Plus, one of the following:

UCAS: 104 points at A2 (STEM subjects preferred but not essential)
Higher National Certificate Level 4 or Higher National Diploma Level 5 accepted.
We are accredited by RICS (who are the EPAO) and CIOB, CICES and CABE.
Flexible entry requirements - advanced entry and non-standard entry is by interview with the Course Leader.
