Job summary

As an Apprentice Building Services Design Engineer, you will work closely with our team to contribute to the design and installation of mechanical and electrical systems in a variety of construction projects. This role offers hands-on learning, development, and exposure to the full range of M&E services, innovative and sustainable solutions.

Full job description

The role includes the following responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the design and development of mechanical, electrical, and environmental systems for a wide range of projects.
  • Support the preparation of technical drawings, specifications, and design documentation.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet client requirements, budgets, and sustainability goals.
  • Work with senior engineers to apply renewable technologies and energy-efficient solutions in building design.
  • Attend site visits and assist in inspections to support the installation and implementation of designs.
  • Participate in problem-solving exercises and troubleshooting design issues during the construction phase.
  • Gain proficiency in design software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-standard systems.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations on site and in the office.

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
