The Innovation Lab is comprised of a multi-skilled team of professionals delivering a broad range of creative digital and communication solutions in web, online learning, extended reality (ER), augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), video, multimedia, graphic design, and print.

We have been successfully assisting businesses in the North of England since 2012. The unit is directed and managed by colleagues with many years of commercial experience working with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and blue-chip companies. We work with organisations in education, tourism and retail, as well as local authorities, Premiership football clubs and national house builders.

This experience is combined with a creative production team who are well-versed in the latest technologies, giving us a cutting edge.

We are a commercial unit and we can work with partners to attract funding for either internal or external customers.

Extended reality

Innovation Lab are pioneers in virtual and augmented reality. We enhance engagement by merging digital and real-world views through extended reality (XR), and creating digital environments with virtual reality (VR) . We are at the forefront of these technologies, which change how we interact with our surroundings. Our team improve XR's accessibility and effectiveness across various applications.

Our projects are available via smartphones and headgear. This integration broadens XR technology use.

Online learning

Online learning utilises digital technology to produce educational content and create interactive learning experiences. This makes education more accessible for a diverse range of learners and removes geographical barriers.

Our aim is to make online learning a fun and rewarding experience. We have worked in a wide range of sectors including the NHS, SMEs, public sector organisations and educational clients.

Digital twinning

Digital twinning creates accurate digital replicas for modelling, testing, monitoring and maintenance. Innovation Lab excels in developing these twins, mirroring physical counterparts. This helps to improve operational efficiency and decision-making. It enables early-stage virtual prototyping, simulation, and refinement. This allows us to improve performance by predicting and optimising the lifecycle of assets.

Media production

Innovation Lab believe in the art of storytelling through film, sound, and digital visualisation. Our team are experienced in producing and editing video, as well lighting and sound production.

We create high quality media for corporates, CPD, podcasts, and social media. We also produce live streaming for corporates, music concerts, sporting events and product launches.

Photography

We integrate photography and Artificial Intelligence (AI), allowing us to offer our clients state-of-the-art solutions. Our unique approach delivers exceptional visual content, ensuring the client effectively communicates their brand message.

Web and app development

Innovation Lab have a wealth of experience developing websites. We ensure that our sites are visually appealing and easy to navigate, in order to meets our clients' needs.

We have Front-End and Full-Stack developers who are well-versed in HTML, PHP, CSS JavaScript and UX. We can capture the intended look and feel of the site, while also creating a quality user experience across devices.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Innovation Lab uses AI for digital media creation, which automates editing, enhances quality and generates dynamic visuals. This approach streamlines work and increases efficiency. By leveraging AI, we can optimise production for diverse channels and audiences.
