The University Medical Centre can offer advice and vaccinations for travel. Please contact the practice on 01772 970079 for further information on what we can offer. Vaccinations are by appointment only and should be booked in advance with the Practice Nurse.

Please note there will normally be a charge for travel vaccinations.

Medical forms, for example for Camp America, may only be completed for patients who are registered with the practice, when full medical details are available.

If you require a medical form to be completed, please advise the Receptionist when booking the appointment. It is helpful if you have completed any details as requested on the form prior to your appointment. The form will usually be left with the Doctor to be collected later.

Sexual Health and Contraception advice sessions are held regularly at the Medical Centre. Please request an appointment if you require screening, treatment, or contraception.

So, if you are worried about sexual health or have any queries it is advisable to visit the Medical Centre or your own Doctor.

If you require a Cervical Smear please book an appointment at the Medical Centre.

GUM Clinics

Genito-urinary Medicine provides a free confidential service for the investigation, diagnosis and treatment of infections or diseases that can affect the genito-urinary systems. This includes sexually transmitted diseases and HIV counselling and testing.
