For Harley, the ability to study towards a degree in her hometown is incredible.
From the very first lecture, she’s been fascinated by learning about the science behind psychology, psychotherapy and counselling. The combination of the three was an underlining win for her and will be incredibly useful for growing her career in psychology.
Harley's experience at our Burnley Campus has been second-to-none. She’s studying BSc (Hons) Psychology, Psychotherapy and Counselling, and says that the teaching is fantastic. Her lecturers go above and beyond, and all the course content is super engaging – she’s “always sat on the edge of her seat wanting to know more”.
"Burnley is my hometown and I just love the idea of being able to study so close to home. I’m passionate about the town and UCLan has only added to the growing development of the town."
— Harley Fallows, BSc (Hons) Psychology, Psychotherapy and Counselling
Harley has access to specialist facilities such as the anatomy lab, alongside more general facilities such as the library and sports facilities.
When we asked Harley for a highlight of her time at UCLan so far, she spoke about a poster competition she won. She created a glow in the dark 3d-printed model of a skull that depicted a famous psychology case and remains proud of it to this day.
Looking forward, Harley has plans to continue to progress on to our MA Integrative Psychotherapy degree.
