Private accommodation

Accommodation

We work closely with registered landlords, making sure that there is a good supply of different types of affordable and suitable accommodation.

Finding the right student home for you can be a challenge, which is why the student accommodation service is here to help with queries you may have regarding private accommodation.

There are numerous types of private accommodation, ranging from large halls of residence and smaller residential blocks to shared houses, bedsits and flats.

UCLan Studentpad

Current private registered accommodation vacancies are listed throughout the year on our searchable website called UCLan Studentpad, which is linked to UCLan’s accommodation website and can be viewed on a mobile phone or tablet.

Here you will be able to search for accommodation and post messages to other students, if, for example, you are looking for housemates. If you are entering your second, third and fourth years of study you can secure private accommodation any time during the Spring or Summer term, in preparation for your return to University the following September.
