Samiea Haider
Samiea currently works as a Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA). She completed her BSc (Hons) Neuroscience with us in 2019 and returned in March 2021. She is currently completing her PhD in Neuroscience under the supervision of Dr. Belinda F. Hornby (Bradley) and Dr. Nikola J. Bridges.
Samiea's role as a GTA focuses on providing support on a range of modules across the range of undergraduate courses available. She supports the teaching, marking and student support within these modules.
Samiea was also involved in the Dean's List Internship in the UCLan Brain Imaging Lab and Undergraduate Research Internship in the UCLan Fly Lab during her undergraduate degree. Upon graduating with us in 2019 with a first class BSC (Hons) in Neuroscience, Samiea also went on to complete a MSc in Neuroimaging for Clinical and Cognitive Neurosciences at The University of Manchester. Prior to joining the School, Samiea worked in Lab Demonstrator roles before starting her role as a GTA in March 2021.
