Pam Monks
Pam is a Lecturer and the Course Leader for our BA (Hons) International Hospitality and Tourism Management (January Intake) programmes. She has particular expertise in Hotel Operations and Management and People Development.
In addition to Pam's teaching role, she also supports students as a Personal Tutor and is Course Leader for our January Intake of International students who join the BA International Hospitality Management Programme. Her current research interests include personal capital and the impact on graduate outcomes.
Pam joined us after a 38 year career with Marriott Hotels, where she held progressive Operational Management roles up to and including Hotel General Manager and latterly spent 18 years as a Director of Human Resources with the Company. Pam uses her extensive Industry knowledge to apply theory and practise, which is informed by her storytelling from the real world. Pam is delighted to be preparing the next generation of Hospitality Managers.
