Dr Oluseyi Kuti
Oluseyi teaches across a range of leadership, business and management modules. She is a member of the Chartered Management Institute currently working towards the Chartered Managerial level. Oluseyi also supervises postgraduate dissertations and Applied Business Projects across Business, Leadership Management and Human Resource subject areas.
Oluseyi has been involved in teaching accounting, project management and leadership modules across the undergraduate, apprenticeship, and MBA levels. Oluseyi's research project titled: The Impact of Organisational Culture on the career progression of Women in the UK attracted the interest of the HR department of Sheffield Hallam University, while the research project titled: Against the Odds, Women Achievers in the Nigerian Banking Industry has been presented at various conferences such as British Academy of Management (BAM) UK, Northern Advanced Research Training Initiative (NARTI)UK and the Research Series Seminars held at UCLan. Oluseyi has also presented this research project as a guest speaker on the HR4202 : Research in Practice Module in 2020 and 2021.
Oluseyi commenced her teaching career at Sheffield Hallam University, in 2017 before joining IROWE, UCLan as a Research Assistant in 2018. In 2019 she combined this role with a teaching role as an SPH also in UCLan.

Oluseyi's research interests include the career progression of women in different countries, with a focus on factors impacting on the career progression such as the societal and organisational culture, the impact of various government policies such as Work /Life Balance, Leave and well-being policies, horizontal and vertical segregation, the representation of women on key government roles and positions and organisational boards, wage rate differentials.
