Dr Jumi Talbot
Dr Jumi Talbot teaches across a range of subjects for our law and policing team with particular expertise in International Humanitarian Law, International Criminal Law, International Human Rights Law and interest in cross-disciplinary research. Jumi's scholarship has led to collaborative projects with colleagues and international partners from other disciplines under the University's Research Centre for Global Development (C4Globe). Jumi also supervises undergraduate and postgraduate projects on international law.
Jumi has led core modules in criminal law. Jumi has also peer reviewed Smith, Hogan and Omerold's Criminal Law (16th Edition, OUP 2021) and drafted a commentary with ideas for implementation in the following (17th) edition.
