Dr Hafiz Faseeh ur Rehman
Dr Hafiz joined our School of Veterinary Medicine at UCLan in March 2024 as a Lecturer of Veterinary Structure and Function. He has over 10 years of experience teaching Anatomy and Histology to Veterinary Science students in Pakistan.
In his current role, he is involved in teaching the structure and function components of the first and second-year modules of the BVMS degree.
Dr Hafiz graduated from PMAS Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi, Pakistan. He holds a PhD in Anatomy and Histology. His research focuses on in-feed supplementation and its effects on broiler gut and muscle development. Along with his postgraduate studies, he also gained teaching experience, starting as a teaching assistant and then becoming a Lecturer at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan. He favours the use of new pedagogical tools, such as 3-D models and virtual resources, in teaching Anatomy and Histology, along with conventional methods like dissection and microscopic observations.
