Gary Cookson

Gary teaches across the MSc Dental Education programme. His background is Teacher Education which he taught for many years prior to coming to UCLan.

Gary's current role involves being course lead for Year 1 of the MSc in Dental Education. He is also module lead for Advanced Mentoring in Dental Education and course lead for The Certificate in Facilitating Learning

Gary has had numerous roles in his academic and teaching career, involving the development of online learning approaches and identifying opportunities to help students to learn effectively. He has also secured management and course development roles linked to a range of programmes taught.
