Eddie developed the Major Crime course to include an inventive 12-week interactive murder scenario and for both courses brings in some superb guest speakers including the mum of a murder victim, a reformed ex offender and a firearms commander to maximise the students learning. He maintains his current up to date knowledge by teaching senior detectives for the College of Policing.
Eddie is a retired Lancashire detective superintendent, who headed the murder and terrorism teams, culminating in a gang related murder where 13 people were, convicted of a variety of offences and received nearly 200 years imprisonment. He has spoken at national and international events on a wide range of subjects such as crime investigation, drug treatment, witness support, wellbeing, ethics and even farming. He has taught a variety of courses from new graduate police recruits, to the most experienced senior investigators both in this country and abroad. He is keen to help any student.
