Caroline teaches on a range of programmes including the Senior Leader Apprenticeship. She leads the module in Team working and Development, leading the ILM Coaching and Mentoring Level 5 Certificate, and supervising MBA professional placements. With expertise in facilitating self-reflection and personal development, Caroline is an accredited practitioner with the British Psychological Society in psychometric personality testing, for example, Myers Briggs MBTI and OPQ Occupational Personality Questionnaire.
Caroline is passionate about people and loves working with individuals to explore their own qualities, skills and resources. Prior to academia, Caroline was responsible for Leading Lancashire, a multi-million pound project funded by the European Social Fund, delivering Leadership Development Programmes to people employed in Lancashire. An experienced leader within the voluntary sector and qualified social worker, Caroline was Director of Operations for a North West charity specialising in safeguarding, housing and homelessness.
As a lifelong learner, Caroline’s passion is personal leadership, coaching and reflective practice and she particularly enjoys working with work-based learners.
