Amber Jacques
Amber is the academic lead for the Women in Cyber Security group. Amber teaches across multiple policing undergraduate and postgraduate modules. Amber teaches academic skills, research methods, financial investigation, and cryptocurrency.
Amber is currently in the final stages of her PhD. Her research focuses on the Asset Recovery challenges of cryptocurrency to optimise law enforcement practice in the United Kingdom. In addition to research and teaching responsibilities, she also supervises undergraduate and postgraduate students in the field of cryptocurrency, cyber and financial investigation.
Amber has been teaching at the University since 2018. Before this, Amber was a student studying policing and criminal investigation and financial investigation here at UCLan. Amber is dedicated to fostering a deep understanding of policing practices and investigative techniques among her students, preparing them for successful careers in law enforcement and related disciplines.
