Alexa Gregson-Kenmuir
Alexa has been teaching Publishing at the University of Central Lancashire since 2016. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Association for Teaching and Learning and a key member of the senior strategic team for growing the independent publishing business, UCLan Publishing. Prior to working at UCLan, Alexa worked in sales and marketing within academic publishing. She is also experienced in employability and recruitment.
Alexa is a senior lecturer and course leader on the award winning MA Publishing. She has developed the MA Publishing curriculum to be highly vocational for the benefit of student employability and incorporates live briefs into her teaching for students to work on.
Her career has had two main themes: Publishing and Employability. These have merged together very successfully into her role because she has a keen understanding of the needs of recruiters, the industry but also for students and supporting them to become competitive candidates.
